You can really improve on 1 and 2, but 3 is more a natural thing, unfortunately. 1) start reaction time 2) how fast you can accelerate 3) top end speed and how long you can maintain that top end (usually about 2 to 3 seconds). Does that make sense? Anyway, the 100 and 200 especially are all about 3 things. I know some skinny people that are VERY fast but not terribly quick so if you can catch them in the first 20ft they have no chance because they can't accelerate. It's all about how fast you can get to speed. Given the same gear ratios any engine (in theory) can run the same top end speed no matter how low the power, but the more powerful the engine, the quicker it can get to that top speed.

Muscle gives you the power to accelerate faster. The ONLY way to do that, besides reaction time, is muscle. Skinny people (not that your skinny, but most sprinters tend to be muscle bound to some degree) can be just as fast, but the 100 isn't just about top end speed, it's about your start reaction times and how fast you can get up to speed as well. I was reading some other comments of yours here and you will probably need to look at doing leg weights. This will open the door, allowing you to advance on to Chamber 11.The wind is higher in the lower times. Turn around and shoot a blue portal underneath the storage cube in the center of the chamber. Shoot a blue portal at the floor, to the right of the green portal, then look to the end of the orange wiring coming from the button with the cube on it. Again, land on the platform it launches you up to, then place the cube on the red button. While holding the storage cube, jump down into your green portal to go back to the present. The cube should pop up out of the portal and fly up to you. Look down at the floor, next to where your green portal is, and fire an orange portal to the right of it. It should begin falling over and over again from the ceiling. Jump down into it and then land on the platform that it launches you up to. Fire a green portal onto the white rectangle, directly below the blue wiring on the wall. Yes, you read right - it's the infamous chamber 20. Wait for the orange portal gun to create a portal on the part of the wall where the pellet containment thing is shining its light.

Head up these stairs and through the material emancipation grill. You should land on a staircase underneath the blue portal. Fire an orange portal onto the floor down here and jump in. Place a blue portal on this ceiling, then look down over the edge in front of you.
